This wine is born at the beginning of the splendid Monti Sicani, where the sun, the sea and the temperature range allow the Nero d’Avola grapes to reach an extraordinary polyphenolic ripeness. Gibilmoro, skilfully vinified by Cantina Di Prima with the addition of a few years in the bottle (we are tasting a 2017) makes the nose of profound beauty, with enveloping balsamic notes. Mediterranean spices, a ripe cherry and wild berries prepare the palate for a long tasting. In the mouth we find perfect balance with the nose and it is so intense and lasting to go through a succulent meal based on red meat.
