It doesn’t care too much being a 2012… with its energy it is willing to remain in the bottle for years and years. Excellent on the nose, deep, balsamic, it tastes of sea and earth, of ripe fruit, unripe mulberry trees and a vegetal and floral note that blend with typical Mediterranean spices.
The taste comes from its years, long, persistent, with balsamic notes that touch every papilla and take possession of it for a sip of true emotions.
Chapeau… to this producer who wanted to pay homage to the “prince” of Sicily in years of great longevity. Armosa honors us with a 2012 and an important but well integrated alcohol. Nero d’Avola to be tasted in its fullness. The olfactory notes are full, intense, the balsamic and spicy fragrances touch the sea breeze during a day of sirocco, then again, you can feel a light sand result of the soil where the vineyard resides. The taste is the apotheosis of the papilla, intense, persistent, with a long drink and harmony.
